By the time they enter their residency, teacher candidates at SUNY Oswego have logged plenty of observation hours in different settings and are ready for their clinical practice. Candidate Sunny Li says the full academic year of residency allowed her to develop a deep understanding of her students and what their particular strengths and needs were. Cooperating teachers from Fowler High School and Grant Middle School describe their own professional learning and leadership opportunities that have resulted from their clinical partnership with the university.
