• Producing Successful New Teachers

  • In this video from the Research-to-Practice Spotlight Series, teacher candidates reflect on their experience as interns with local schools involved in the PDS program. Students from George Mason University are prepared for their own classroom after concluding their program with independent teaching that provides growth and feedback from their mentor teacher. Many fellow teacher candidates become new hires at their PDS and continue to have a mentor throughout their first year to continue their growth as a teacher.
