Preparing UNLV Graduates for Success in the Field
-
-
Faculty at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), and their school-based partners discuss strategies to prepare new educators for success in the workforce. The partnership with Clark County School District, one of the largest school districts in the United States, gives candidates firsthand experience in a variety of settings, including urban, rural, and charter schools. UNLV offers cohorts to support students from similar backgrounds, and mentors provide not only clinical training but also preparation for the interview process.
