SUNY Oswego’s support of diverse learners, including those learning English as a new language, is complemented by the School of Education’s participation in the AACTE Holmes Program. In this video, Holmes Coordinator Tiphanie Gonzalez—herself a Holmes Scholar alumna—explains why the university joined the program, which provides mentorship and other supports to education students from underrepresented backgrounds.
