Rethinking University-School Partnerships: Shifting to a Cohesive Model of Preparation

Preparation programs often struggle with a lack of congruence regarding goals, methods, and philosophies and the subsequent experiences in clinical internship sites can result in confusion for the preservice student; thus, lessening the program's impact. This session will share how one large teacher preparation program engaged in a redesign process focused on ensuring program coherence and supporting the needs of the partner schools.
