The Social Justice Academy: Advocating for Democracy through Collaboration and Action

In this session, we will introduce our work to design and implement the Social Justice Academy, a partnership-centered initiative funded by a $2 million grant. The purpose of the Social Justice Academy is to provide aspiring teachers, current teachers, school counselors, and directors with extensive professional development in social justice, with an emphasis on promoting educational equity in and out of the classroom.
