Locating critical convergence: Teacher education scholarship in an era of neoliberal notions of accountability

This presentation locates areas of overlap between program evaluation for accountability and teacher education scholarship as informed by candidates, faculty, and partners with lived experiences. The presentation draws from case study narratives and evaluation data from one small liberal arts university. Presenters found that a justice focused vision with critical and clear descriptors supported a vibrant research agenda that also fulfilled accreditation related obligations.
